The Tuvalu Fisheries Authority (TFA) wishes to inform stakeholders and the public that, under Section 6(5) of the Fisheries Management Act 2025, the Board has declared two foreign fishing vessels as Domestic Based Foreign Fishing Vessels for the period 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.
This declaration supports the development of Tuvalu’s tuna industry through charter arrangements that contribute to national economic growth and local capacity building.
