The Tuvalu Fisheries Authority (TFA), under the Tuvalu Fisheries Support Programme Phase 3 (TFSP3), invites proposals from qualified consultants to support and strengthen its accounting and financial management systems.
Key Details
- Duration: ~45 working days over 12 months
- Delivery: 3 field visits to Tuvalu + remote support
- Contract: 1 year, extendable up to 5 years (based on performance)
Requirements
- Degree (preferably higher qualification) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing finances in a medium-sized organization
- Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and audits
- Experience working with government or statutory bodies (fisheries preferred)
- Experience in Pacific Small Island Developing States is an advantage
- Demonstrated value for money

- Brief proposal addressing requirements
- Two referees
- Cost estimate (fees + travel for 3 visits)
Financial Information
- Preferably quoted in AUD
- Airfares and transit per diems reimbursed
- AUD $290/day for time spent in Tuvalu
