The Tuvalu Fisheries Authority (TFA) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill one (1) vacancy on the Fisheries Authority Board as an Independent Director.
This vacancy arises following the resignation of an Independent Director. Applications are open to candidates from within Tuvalu and internationally.
Role and Selection Criteria
Independent Directors are selected based on merit and their ability to contribute to the strategic direction and governance of the Authority. Applicants should demonstrate relevant experience, professional expertise, or specialized knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Fisheries management
- International business
- Accounting and finance
- Commercial and strategic leadership
The successful candidate will be expected to bring a high level of professionalism, integrity, and governance experience to support the Authority’s mandate of sustainable fisheries management.
